This results from we the people who pay these taxes, consistently electing crooked politicians to positions of unyielding power. Actually to be true, not all politicians are crooked, but the system itself is corrupt and nobody wants to fix it. So in order for them to survive in that system, they tend to change. We as voters see this time and time again. That’s not what they said they would do, when they solicted our votes.

They usually become exempt of all or some of these taxes or at least get a break on many of them because we pay these for them, through the mis-service to us. Not a typo, it’s mis-service, because they don’t do the things they are elected to do. They don’t because we don’t hold their feet to the fire to do right, so they cater to the squeaky wheel, which is usually an entity that usually is disingenuous, be it lobbyist, unions, etc.

It would not be so bad if they did not turn around and waste a lot of this money through wasteful programs, of constantly giving something for nothing, or dead end projects, and worst of all self serving projects to their cronies. The new backdoor tax is through the utilities, if you ever look at your bill. In large cities,counties, a mere $1-3 dollars in supplemental taxes, can add up to millions of dollars a month income.

Many of the taxes tacked on to your phone bill are bogus, but they know most people will never challenge them. They know most Americans bow down and are submissive to everything that is handed to them. So they take advantage of this subservient mentality by constantly sneaking in taxes here and there, as we turn down any voter related new tax bonds.

If we held them to be more accountable and use our dollars more efficiently, then we would need all these taxes, all these taxes represent misuse, corruption and ineptitude in our local, state, county and federal governments.

When the people wake up and use the power they still have via the Constitution, then this trend can, will change. Otherwise, it will only get worse. Power comes through numbers, People can relate to the power of numbers when we pray together, but don’t seem to get that when relating to their government and elected officials. AT some point before it’s too late, Americans need to wake up and join forces in the common cause for something other than voting on American Idol shows!

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?
Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation
was the most prosperous in the world.
We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
What happened? Can you spell “politicians!”
And I still have to “press 1″ for English.
I hope this goes around THE USA at least 100 times - keep it going……
