There are too many in today’s America that mix their disdain for the President with those who serve daily at home and abroad. The Reality Check is that, if it were not for these men and women we would always be thinking twice about leaving home each day as well as those who still have children at home to send them off to school. It would almost be like living in a home with no walls, which I think most sane people would be very uncomfortable with.

This Veterans Day may mean more than most of all of the others, because many of them were fighting so that one day there might BE a Barack Obama. And this year, it has come to pass. Can you imagine them looking back at us from the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, etc., seeing this day?
