A little boy who was 3 lived with his family in an area of Southern California that was subject to sudden bursts of rain with no warning.
One afternoon he was in the yard and his mom was watching him
through the kitchen window. A sudden cloudburst hit, and he
ran into the house, drenched and screaming. He would not settle
down, and continued to cry hysterically. She held him, wrapped
him in a towel, but nothing helped until between sobs he cried”I need a bath”. She took him in, ran a tub of warm water and put him in. “Wash
my hair Mom”. She washed it. He still cried.
“Wash it again Mom” . . .so she did. She pulled him out, wrapped
him in a dry towel and arms of love, and rocked him. The sobs
finally subsided long enough for him to cry “Mom, those nasty
clouds went potty on me!”
