to love people and use things, instead of using people
and loving things.”

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up a
stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man
took the child’s hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was
using a wrench.
.
At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple
fractures. When the child saw his father…..with painful eyes he
asked, ‘Dad when will my fingers grow back?’ The man was so hurt and
speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.
Devastated by his own actions……sitting in front of that car he
looked at the scratches; the child had written ‘LOVE YOU DAD’.
The next day that man committed suicide. . .

Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful,
lovely life….. Things are to be used and people are to be loved,
But the problem in today’s world is that, People are used and things

Helping A Lady

Last summer, on an extremely hot day, temps in the 3 digits, my
son, who is 12, and I were sitting in our truck waiting for my
husband to come out of the grocery store.
..
We had been shopping and forgotten to buy milk. As we sat there
with the a/c running, I noticed an elderly woman crossing the
street. She was quite over-weight and laboring to walk and
looked very sad.
..
As she made her way to sit on the bench in front of us, I jumped
out of our truck, with my son asking what I was doing. I told
him to wait just a minute I would be right back.
..
I went to the woman, who wore no shoes but did wear the stains
of the over warm day, and I asked if I could help her.
..
She looked so surprised and kept looking around me, asking me
why I did that?
..
I told her I thought she may need some help and I was worried
about her. She just kept smiling at me and hugging me over and
over again. At least seven or eight times.
